2. HOW AND WHAT DATA DO WE PROCESS
When registering for a veterinary services
For these purposes, we need your basic personal data (name and surname) and contact data (e-mail address and telephone number) for effective communication and to achieve the best possible understanding of your wishes and needs and to agree on an appointment for the treatment. If our communication does not continue and you do not use our veterinary services, we will permanently delete all your personal data one year after the last communication.
During the provision of veterinary services
During the provision of veterinary services, we are obliged to collect all the data of your pet in accordance with the provisions of the Veterinary Act, the Animal Protection Act and other regulations in the field of veterinary medicine, as well as the necessary set of your personal data as a pet owner (name and surname, personal identification number, ID number, ownership and deregistration information and residential address).
We check your data in the Central Register of Pets of the Ministry of Agriculture (LYSACAN) as well as by reading your pet's microchip. At the same time, it is also important for us to know whether the owner or possessor is an adult.
For the purposes of contacting you directly in order to inform you about possible infectious diseases, vaccination obligations or to arrange an appointment, we need your contact information (e-mail address or telephone number), which we retain for the time you are our client, i.e., the owner of a pet. which we care about.
In your best interest and for the purpose of ensuring the highest quality of veterinary medicine services, we can refer you to another outpatient clinic or clinic within our veterinary group and, in accordance with legal regulations in the field of veterinary medicine, we will forward your pet's documentation and your personal data.
Access to all your personal data is strictly limited, and in accordance with the Veterinary Act, we are obliged to provide access to your personal data at the request of the competent ministry, other state administration bodies in accordance with special regulations, the Croatian Veterinary Chamber and competent judicial bodies, and authorized laboratories during diagnostic procedures.
We retain the necessary set of basic personal data (name, surname, personal identification number, address, services provided) for the purposes of issuing invoices for services in accordance with accounting and tax regulations.
Video surveillance
Exclusively for the purpose of protecting the safety of persons who will be covered by the legal video surveillance perimeters and for the purpose of protecting property and preventing illegal actions directed towards our property from theft, robbery, burglary, violence, destruction, etc., in accordance with our justified and documented legitimate interest, we monitor exclusively acceptable area of veterinary clinics and practices, whose perimeters are clearly marked with easily visible notices. As a rule, we store video surveillance recordings for up to a month, depending on the amount of recorded records on the storage medium, and a maximum of 6 months.
Telephone conversations recording
The system of recording outgoing and incoming telephone conversations with animal owners is carried out for the purpose of analyzing emergency and incident situations, analyzing the treatment of animals, analyzing received complaints and proving the correctness of actions and ensuring compliance and improving communication with users of veterinary services. Recordings of telephone conversations are kept for a period of up to one month and are permanently deleted after the expiry of these periods.
Job candidates selection
During job candidate selection and employment procedures, we collect basic data about candidates with the intention of entering into an employment contract, name and surname, residential address, e-mail address, phone number, education and work experience, and other data that you submit to us via your resume, as a set of your personal data important for carrying out the selection and employment procedure. After the end of the selection process, we hire the selected candidates and collect all necessary data in accordance with legal obligations, while applications and personal data of unsuccessful candidates are returned upon request or permanently destroyed, and based on your consent we retain them for possible employment in the future.
We share the personal data of job candidates with PROVECTUS CAPITAL PARTNERS d.o.o., Ilica 1A, 10000 Zagreb, as a related company based on a valid legitimate interest in accordance with the provisions of the GDPR.
The consumer's right to object
Every animal owner is guaranteed the right to file a complaint or complaint about the services provided, whereby we collect the necessary set of personal data of the complainant and retain it for a period of up to 12 months, in accordance with regulations in the field of consumer rights protection.
Collection of your personal information on our website
Although you can use our website without providing personal information, when you contact us through our contact form on the website for the purpose of ordering a veterinary treatment or for the purpose of possible employment, establishment of a business relationship or inquiry, we collect your first and last name and e-mail address, and the information about your phone number is extremely useful so that we can determine your wishes and needs in the field of veterinary services as accurately as possible with our return phone call. As long as we have open communication in the sense of establishing cooperation and agreeing a review, we will collect your personal data and delete it after the termination of further communication, after the expiration of all legal obligations or the termination of the existence of legal bases from the GDPR related to the processing of your personal data.
Our website is not designed to provide services to minors under the age of 16, and for this purpose, it is necessary to attach the consent of the parents or the holder of parental responsibility before providing personal information through our contact form.

Right of access to personal data
You have the right to access your personal data and to know what data and how we process, for what purpose and for what time. We give you the opportunity to see your personal data or to request a copy of your personal data.

You have the right to correct or complete any inaccurate or incomplete personal data that you have provided and which we have collected.
Right to erasure of personal data
You have the right to request a deletion of your personal data when the data are no longer necessary to achieve the purpose for which they were collected or when you make a reasoned objection.
